Our diverse backgrounds and abilities are the driving force of success. Our Founder and CEO Nicole Mateyo is extremely passionate about our mission. She was diagnosed at the age of 7 with a severe form of asthma, Asthma is a condition that causes swelling and fluid build up in the lungs. Even though she grew up with a Mother in the healthcare industry it was a struggle to understand and maintain the condition. She experienced emergency hospital admissions yearly with many near death experiences. Her research in respiratory health started when she was only 14 years old with the research and action been propelled in 2020 after the death of her Mother due to a pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lungs) shortly after Nicole was diagnosed with pulmonary abrasions (damage in the lung tissue). All these factors have been the driving force and inspiration for the company's creation and progression.
